Phonics Lessons and Decodable Texts
Provide systematic and explicit phonics instruction using Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z Phonics Lessons and Decodable Texts. Built on research-based strategies for introducing, teaching, and practicing sounds and their related symbols, decodable texts for grades K–2 and additional practice materials for grades 3–4 help ensure beginning readers understand how letters are linked to sounds.
Phonological Awareness Lessons
Ensure beginning readers learn to manipulate sounds by using new Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z K–1 Phonological Awareness lessons and assessments to provide systematic and explicit instruction that focuses on word, onset and rime, rhyme, syllables, and phonemic awareness. Use these resources in sequence or as a way to supplement another foundational skills program.
Daily Language Practice
Meet grammar and word work standards for grades 1–5 with Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z Daily Language Practice to explicitly teach writing skills. Providing everything needed to deliver 32 weeks of activities, this resource includes weekly learning guides and activity sheets that explicitly teach 2–4 grammar and word work skills each week.
K–2 Foundational Skills Scope and Sequence
Develop early reading skills using the Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z K–2 Foundational Skills Scope and Sequence. Deliver explicit and systematic instruction and practice with an easy-to-use pathway that integrates the wide array of phonics and phonological awareness resources in Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z.

Access Easy-to-Use Distance Learning Packs
Provide opportunities for ongoing virtual learning with Raz-Plus Distance Learning Packs. Deliver standards-based Reading and Activity resources for students in Grades K-5 via easy-to-access packs, carefully curated for each grade level. This grade-appropriate ELA content is easy-to-access and –use for extra student practice at home.

Get Started Quickly With the New Reading Placement Tool
Save time and make it easy to get students started reading level-appropriate books in Raz-Plus/Raz-Kids. Through a series of adaptive reading activities, the Reading Placement Tool identifies the appropriate starting point for newly rostered students, and places them at one of nine entry points in the program.

Meet K–5 ELA Standards With the Literacy Curriculum Map
Easily find Raz-Plus/Reading A-Z resources to meet K–5 ELA standards using the Literacy Curriculum Map. Organized into content-based units, including science, social studies, and social-emotional learning, the map provides a week-by-week guide for the entire school year at each grade level, detailing specific materials to use for instruction and differentiation.
