A Little Princess

Sara Crewe is seven when her wealthy father moves her from their home in colonial India to a London boarding school for girls. Sara is much praised by Miss Minchin, the headmistress. She is much admired by some of the girls and much envied by others. But when tragedy strikes, Sara is sent to the attic to sleep, and put to work cleaning the rooms of her former classmates. Sara has a second store of wealth, though: a rich imagination and great strength of character. Will these be enough to see her through?
