A group of friends travel back to the time of the dinosaurs with the help of their robot pal, RK-5. They are having fun watching dinosaurs and making friends with a baby Triceratops until a dangerous Tyrannosaurus discovers them. The story ends with a cliffhanger that concludes in the next book of the Adventure Friends series, Tommy and the Tyrannosaurus.
