Chesa and her older sister, Ami, grew up in a small town in Indiana listening to their parents talk about the Philippines. The time has finally come for them to travel there to visit their family, but this trip may not be everything Chesa hoped it would be. Chesa's Oasis is a descriptive story about what happens when Chesa finally visits her beloved Philippines and how she overcomes a challenge with her grandpa's help.
