Amina is a young girl living in the the country of Senegal in the Sahel region of Africa. Amina and her village are facing several problems due to desertification. When Amina learns about the Great Green Wall, she is filled with hope that maybe they can solve some of these problems. This engaging story will entertain even as it teaches about the Great Green Wall, a project that was initiated by eleven African countries in 2007 to help combat climate change.
