Alice walks into a large room with about fifty looking-glass guests at a table. She sits down with the Red and White queens and kings, who regale her with riddles and poetry. The room begins to go haywire: objects transform into other objects, and general chaos ensues. Alice determines that the Red Queen is responsible and shakes her into a kitten. She finally wakes up with the black kitten in her hands and contemplates the nature of reality--was the whole experience her dream, or was she part of the Red King's dream?
