Leif Ericson, a Norwegian explorer, is seeking fame and fortune when he hears the story of a mysterious, far-off land filled with riches. He buys a ship and sets sail. Accompanied by a spirited crew, he braves storms and rough waters before finally finding the new land and possibly becoming one of the first Europeans to land in the New World.
