Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come visit the room where the dead man lies. His possessions have been stolen, and his body has been left alone. Scrooge begins to feel regret for leading a life of selfishness. Next, they travel to a devastated Cratchit household in a future where Tiny Tim has died and then to a graveyard where the ghost shows Scrooge his own headstone. Scrooge realizes what the ghost has been showing him: the dead man that no one cared about was him.
