A Christmas Carol (Part 3)
At midnight, Scrooge is visited by the first of three spirits, the Ghost of Christmas Past. The ghost, dressed in white and emanating light, takes Scrooge back to his last lonely day at boarding school. Neglected by both friends and family, Scrooge is left by himself during the holidays. Then, his little sister arrives by coach to bring him home for Christmas. Scrooge reflects on her with warmth and recalls that she died as an adult, having given birth to one child, Scrooge's loving nephew.
