Persephone: a Greek Myth
Persephone: a Greek Myth is the story of a young goddess who is dragged into the underworld and must live there for four months of every year. While her daughter is away, her mother, who is the goddess of plants, is so sad that the world becomes cold and plants don't grow. As with many myths, this one was created to explain the cycle of cold and warm seasons.
