Jade always helped at her parent's flower booth at the farmers' market. But one day, everything seemed to go wrong. She overslept, her hair was a tangly mess, her favorite shirt was dirty, she spilled all the milk for her cereal, Mr. Lopez at the market had no strawberries--her favorite--and one of the three flowers her mother gave her got stepped on. Then, Jade noticed another seller at the market chasing her sign in the wind. Jade helped catch the sign but it was torn. Jade saw how sad the woman was so she gave the woman the two remaining flowers her mom had given her. The woman was so touched that she bought a whole bunch of flowers and gave them to Jade. Then the day was a good day for both of them.
