Randolph is a very little mouse, but he feels he could help his family with their work. They think he's too small to help. One day Randolph runs into Lion, who wants to eat him. Randolph says that one day he could help Lion if he spares him. Lion laughs so hard, he lets go of Randolph. A few weeks later, Randolph rescues Lion from a trap, and everyone agrees that Randolph is a brave, capable little mouse.
