One by one, Walter's friends come over to make music, using common household items such as a whisk, spoons, and rubber bands. Meanwhile, Walter keeps trying to whistle, but he can't make a whistling sound. Finally, as all the children play their "instruments," Walter is able to add his whistle to the band.
