Even as a child, Jane Goodall was interested in learning about animals. As an adult, she went to Africa as a scientist to study chimpanzees. Goodall found out things about chimps that other scientists didn't know. Her experiences with the wild chimps made Goodall realize how important the forests are to them. Today she works with people to help them save forests and the animals that live there.
