JAPAN EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI
Help students learn about earthquakes and the tsunamis that can sometimes result from them. The massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake that shook Japan on March 11, 2011, was the most powerful earthquake to strike the country in at least one hundred years and the fifth-largest ever recorded in the world.
