Corduroy is a teddy bear in a luxurious department store. One day, after sadly witnessing a girl's mother refuse to buy him while pointing out his missing button, Corduroy goes on an adventure in search of his button. He leaves his shelf and wanders through the store, discovering places he never knew existed. However, what Corduroy is really searching for can't be found in any store, as he learns the next day when the girl returns to buy him and make him her friend.
