During the month of December, Emily and the other kids in Ms. Rooney's class are doing a secret friend project. Like a Secret Santa program, each student is assigned a person they will provide with anonymous gifts throughout the month. As December pushes on, Emily will need to learn that she shouldn't judge what she sees on the outside, but should consider the inner person instead.
