Floods and Tornadoes
Unusually heavy winter snows and spring rainstorms have produced two destructive forces in the United States this spring.
Help students understand the conditions that combine to produce severe flooding — greater than the typical seasonal floods that farmers have relied on for centuries —
and storms that produce tremendous tornadoes and other severe or violent weather.
