Fran and the Prom Dress
Fairy Tale (fiction), 380 Words, Decodable

Background |
 |
Blends are two or three consonants grouped together, with each letter keeping its own sound. Blends often pose pronunciation difficulty for children because two consecutive consonants within one syllable feel less distinct in the mouth than a consonant and a vowel together. When the letters br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, and tr appear together as a blend, they will almost always sound the same.
