When Thomas A. Tompkins' dog, Taffy, brings him a remote control, Tommy and his friend Lucy soon discover that it is not ordinary. As Tommy plays with the buttons on it, he causes Lucy and Taffy to disappear. Tommy needs to bring back his friend and dog, and decide what to do with the magic clicker. This book is the first in a long series of adventures.
